Hey guys! Did you know Twitter has some NSFW stuff? Isn't a big deal?

I seen it and it was ugly. I never checked out ElvisTheAlien's twitter, but all I see were Quarians' big butts and snake furries. That's all I know because I quit Twitter since last year.

RoboticJeffy (talkcontribs)

I don´t remember any NSFW stuff from twitter.

GethN7 (talkcontribs)

Trust me, there is a TON of NSFW stuff, they just hide behind spoilers by default, but it's there.

RoboticJeffy (talkcontribs)

Does twitter ban these?

Mar9122 (talkcontribs)

I don't think so. However, there's a filler for Twitter so you don't have to see it. And I'm not too sure the Twitter policy allow NSFW, but boi there's a lot of furries.

Masson Thief (talkcontribs)

If Twitter's policy doesn't allow it and it is still there maybe we should mention it on its page.

I think they hide it and tell you if you wanna see it (also, most of the time the creator says that it's NSFW), which isn't a big deal then. Except when they don't hide it, then there's a problem.

Also, i took this from their media policy regarding innapropriate content

We consider adult content to be any media that is pornographic or intended to cause sexual arousal. Some examples include, but are not limited to, depictions of:

  • full or partial nudity, including close-ups of genitals, buttocks, or breasts;
    • Please note that exceptions may be made for artistic, medical, health, or educational content. Breastfeeding content does not need to be marked as sensitive.
  • simulating a sexual act; or
  • intercourse or any other sexual act, involving humans, depictions of animals with human-like features, cartoons, hentai or anime.

Media containing adult content is not permitted within live video, profile or header images. All other instances of adult content should be marked as sensitive media. Adult content created or shared without the consent of those depicted, or media that depicts sexual violence or assault is subject to removal under our intimate media policy

TL;DR Porn is permitted as long as it doesn't depict sexual assault or gratuitous gore (as it conflicts with their gore policy)

Their policy about this matter is similar to FANDOM's.

So, FANDOM is okay with NSFW stuff?

RoboticJeffy (talkcontribs)

I don´t think so

Masson Thief (talkcontribs)

Both policies say NSFW stuff is allowed if it is for medical purposes, but that doesn't mean it doesn't slip through unnoticed for malicious ends.

Mar9122 (talkcontribs)

So, is this means that we could add the part where Twitter has NSFW stuff?

Masson Thief (talkcontribs)

Maybe we should mention that Twitter lacks content moderation if the page doesn't say that already.
