Moral Justice Warriors
Type: Self explanatory

Moral Guardians, also known as soccermoms or media watchdogs, are parents who dislike the media that their children use or watch, and try to get it banned because it differs with their beliefs. They come in two types: Social Justice Warriors and Bible-thumpers. Some notable groups with moral guardians include One Million Moms, The American Family Association, and the Parents' Television Council.

Why They Are Rotten

  1. They're so whiny, sulky, mopey, and overly offended over the simplest and smallest of things.
  2. They're often hateful against certain groups, but to add irony to the story, they act like a hate group.
  3. They are disrespectful to the intelligence of children. They think that all video games can turn children into violent, cruel, nihilistic human beings when that's not even true in the slightest (and some studies have shown that can have the opposite effect). That also proves that moral guardians are toxic video game haters.
    • They also claim that violent video games cause school shootings which is also not true either!
  4. They tend to harass people constantly, and act like racist and sexist jerks to other people at times. Do we need to show you why?
  5. They're often the bad apples of the political parties they support, and are too preachy about political agenda.
  6. They can't leave their kids alone, stop stalking them, and use and watch whatever they want as long as it's age appropriate for them.
  7. They often use cherrypicking, whataboutism, and their emotions to silence their detractors, which is them attempting to use censorship.
  8. They take the "A show must be family-friendly" excuse way too seriously, and they're highly intolerable towards people who like media that isn't aimed at families or kids.
    • As a matter of fact, they hate anything that is "not for kids" as it proves that they get so triggered over adult stuff.
  9. The Social Justice Warriors blindly praise other shows like Nella the Princess Knight, regardless of their possible flaws. Low ratings and bad marketing led to that series' downfall, as it was announced to end after the second season.
  10. Speaking of SJWs. They also get constantly triggered whenever a series doesn't have a female, POC, or queer character as the main character.
    • Most of these idiots have accused Thomas the Tank Engine of being sexist due to the fact that none of the engines are females at the time and all the railway staff at the time. Of course, they introduced female engines to the series such as Hong Mei, Nia, Rebecca, Daisy (the first female engine of the franchise), Lady (the first female steam engine introduced to the TV series), Emily, Mavis, etc.
    • As Social Justice Warriors, they constantly demand political correctness in media, regardless if they actually use or watch it.
  11. Not only they can be SJWs, but some of them can also be rabid butthurt Anti-SJWs as well.
  12. The Bible-thumpers are homophobic and they too get so triggered and outraged constantly whenever homosexuality pops up in a series or film aimed at kids. This is to the point that they always try to get them banned with failed results. Examples of franchises they tried to ban were Andi Mack, Adventure Time, Good Luck Charlie, Doc McStuffins, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, The Loud House, My Little Pony, DuckTales 2017, Onward, Toy Story 4, Star Wars Resistance, The Owl House, Arthur, and even SpongeBob SquarePants.
    • Speaking of The Owl House, before it even aired, the nutjobs still went after it, as well as saying that it was demonic.[1]
    • They even tried to ban Glee, which isn't necessarily for kids but rather, for young adults and teenagers in the first place!
    • To add on to that fact, they are also xenophobic to they point they detest against certain countries such as China, Japan, Vietnam, Cuba, or the Nordic countries because the 4 mentioned countries have lots of atheist people and/or are Atheist Countries when there could be religious people in these mentioned countries.
    • They loathe homosexuals because "the Bible said so", as they may claim. Even if they disagree with it, they shouldn't judge people and just leave them alone. They shouldn't be their problem, and they won't be a reason for their kids to have a homosexual orientation. Matthew 7:1 says: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged". They should listen to that verse. Jesus never turned away from anyone; neither should they.
      • A moralistic group named OneMillionMoms even thinks that all of the major leaders of the Nazi regime were homosexual. One, this claim has no historical evidence and is absolutely false, and it got rejected by historians. Second, do they even realize that there were LGBT victims involved in the Holocaust?
    • Although, they actually got the film Finding Dory banned in the Cook Islands just because it shows a possible lesbian couple (although this is uncertain), as well as getting non-educational Saturday morning-cartoons defunct after the 1996 FCC mandate.
    • Speaking of Toy Story 4, they overreacted and got upset because of a brief scene that shows a brief lesbian couple which is found here. The couple isn't even important to the story so why bother?
    • Speaking of Good Luck Charlie, they sent death threats to one of the series' actresses, Mia Talerico, because of an episode that featured lesbian mothers.
    • On Twitter, there's an SJW/Moral Guardian and an Edgelord called Question LGBT Education who claims that children are being forced to be homosexual without providing any evidence. They also block people for criticizing them which shows how pathetic and how much of a coward they are. It's not our fault you can't handle criticism.
    • In addition, zoophilepolice_ this is same as the one above, keeps making cringeworthy tweets, overreacting to everything and bashing anything he disagrees. He also uses fake follower accounts to make false follower count as well as fake likes and retweets on his tweets, which is just another example of how unprincipled these SJWs/Moral Guardians are.
    • SpongeBob SquarePants was the center of two separate controversies, despite Stephen Hillenburg confirming that the entire cast is asexual. The first one was a direct result of the episode "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve", which parent groups claimed was promoting homosexuality. In 2005, SpongeBob (along with many other popular children's characters) was in a music video about tolerance and diversity, which caught heat from a right-wing extremist group called Focus on the Family; they singled him out due to the show's LGBT fanbase.
  13. When Nickelodeon went off the air on March 14, 2018, in support of the walkout, they got so mad, and whined and cried on social media that Paw Patrol wasn't on.
  14. They make ridiculously weird claims and accusations not limited to the media they accused of:
    • A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is accused of racism because the character Franklin, who is a non-white human, sits in a different chair than the other main characters. Charles Schultz actually fought tooth-and-nail to get Franklin into the strips.
    • VeggieTales is accused of being a racist cartoon because the villains are "of color". The series doesn't even mention any forms of race. Plus, most of the characters are vegetables. How can they have a race or skin color?
    • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was accused of promoting bullying because of what happened to Rudolph, even though the whole moral of the Christmas special is "Be yourself and embrace your special qualities".
    • The religious extremists because they also think that certain franchises such as Pokémon or Harry Potter teach people to do satanic rituals. Really? How can a good natured franchise teach people to do satanic rituals? Sure Pokémon does have monsters and Harry Potter takes place in a fantasy world, but that not right to call it satanic.
    • SpongeBob SquarePants is also accused of racism because Bikini Bottom was created as a result of nuclear testing at Bikini Atoll during the Cold War, driving indigenous people out of their homes. SpongeBob is not racist at all, it's one of the most inclusive shows on TV. Because the characters don't have a clear race, ethnicity, or origin (except for maybe Sandy, who comes from Texas), anyone, no matter how they identify as, can relate to them. It also doesn't appropriate Hawaiian culture. The Hawaiian look and feel of SpongeBob makes it feel authentic. It does take place under an island, after all.
      • Speaking of SpongeBob SquarePants, they think that the show makes children dumb, which comes off as another example of them insulting children's intelligence.
    • Looney Tunes was accused of racism because they think Speedy Gonzales is a racist Mexican stereotype, which there was no evidence he is (and considering Speedy's extreme popularity in Latin America, they're the only ones who find him offensive). Sadly, this controversy caused most of his cartoons involving him as the main focus to be banned in some US networks because people are too stupid to not blindly listen to these thickheaded twits.
    • Winx Club wac accused of promoting anorexia and other eating disorders to little girls because of the Winx's and most of the other female characters' thin appearance and that the Winx only care about "boys and fashion" even if each one of them always had the same boyfriend for the entire series (except for Aisha, but it's because her first boyfriend died) and Stella is the only fashionista of the group and clothes are nowhere near the main focus of the show anyway.
    • They also attacking Dr. Seuss for being racist. Dr. Seuss at that time was advocating against the Japanese until he wrote Horton Hears A Who to condemned his action towards the Japanese after the Second World War.
  15. They're obsessively against violence in television series aimed at kids for obvious reasons. For example, if a character throws a mere hit, they call for the series to be banned. Because of that, shows like The Legend of Korra was actually cancelled because of that.
    • They only let their kids watch Nick Jr. and they hate Disney Junior because it airs series with violence in them, PBS Kids because, according to them, they claim to say "the network steals money from governments", and other channels like Nick, Disney XD, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network because they are not educational and have violence, which shows how idiotic they are to not do any research.
      • This also shows that they think every cartoon has to be educational and if it a cartoon isn’t educational, that will result in them making false claims about certain shows teaching bad things like Dragon Ball teaching kids on how to become more violent and angry, which is a show more suitable for an older audience than kids due to the characters going "Damn it".
    • Although it's rare some hate sports like American Football and Hockey due to their violent culture.
      • Speaking of which they act like athletes are supposed to be "Role Models", and when NBA legend Charles Barkley openly said he's not a role model they attack him We're not even kidding.
  16. They will tend to target cartoons because of the "animation is for kids" mentality, even if the cartoon isn't aimed at kids. [2]
    • These complaints are the reason that any cartoon aimed at anyone over the age of 12 is strictly aimed at adults and not teens or general audiences.
  17. The authors working at Common Sense Media are all examples of moral guardians that are too stupid to call themselves Common Sense Media. If they hear a character say "stupid", that's considered swearing to them. If they see a character have a crush on another character, that's sexual to them. What kind of logic is that?
    • Speaking of CSM, moral guardians use it to write whiny and biased reviews on series, films, and video games they hate.
  18. They can often be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Change.org because they are gatekeepers that want everything all to themselves when it comes to entertainment, and that is it.
  19. They may post comments on YouTube requesting the channel to stop swearing on videos that aren't aimed at kids. Thankfully, these comments usually receive very little attention. However, it still gets annoying finding them on less popular videos.
  20. They think Rock and Roll music is satanic, even though it isn't for obvious reasons because God said nothing about rock and roll music in the Bible, and music wasn't a thing yet when the bible came along. They only let their kids listen to mainstream songs that are "clean".
    • Speaking of Rock and Roll music, all of them are heartless because they're happy about Chester Bennington's death.
    • They also target specific rock bands such as Cannibal Corpse.
  21. They often spoil their kids and don't even bother treating them with respect.
    • They let their kids watch YouTube Kids all day and not actually do the parenting. This has led to their kids watching Elsagate! Which is an example of bad parenting.
      • With this, it's clear that they have double standards: They don't allow their children to watch any stuff they hate, but yet they let them see some NSFW videos that appear innocent on the surface like the previously mentioned videos of Elsagate, making them complete hypocrites and brain dead idiots that have never heard of getting an IQ test.
  22. The fact that none of their "crusades" to get certain television networks to get certain shows cancelled and taken off the air by them have proven how horrible they really are.
    • They hate it whenever a series tackles a mature topic because they think that kids won't understand and that the series isn't "clean" anymore, they will go "ooh this is too inappropriate for children". For example, they complained about and got offended over an episode of Doc McStuffins that was centered around cancer.
    • If they see a television series character that has anything they could consider "flaws", they'll immediately throw a hissy fit and call the character a "bad role model". A perfect character would be so boring and uninteresting to watch. Their "flaws" are one of the things that can make them likable, relatable, realistic, and interesting.
    • They even try to cancel television shows that just stopped airing. For example, a user named Stomps claimed that he and his cousin were watching Chowder during a moment. His aunt went insane because one of the characters, Endive, has a "huge butt", and they threatened to get the series cancelled, despite the fact that the series already just ended its airing during that moment after 2010.
    • Although, they actually got the Postcards from Buster episode "Sugartime!" banned on some PBS Kids stations, since it showed lesbian mothers.
    • They are shown to be transphobic on the television topic as well. For example, they tried to get SheZow banned, because it had a non-transgender character which they thought was actually transgender.
    • An example of hypocrisy from them here: They may complain about anime and Japan in general, yet they don't even complain about some Japanese products such as the Mario franchise, which had an anime movie back in 1986.
  23. They are also shown to be nostalgiatards. For example, they hated the fact when the Arthur character Mr. Ratburn was revealed to be gay, claiming that it "ruined their childhood".
    • They had the same reaction when Ralph Bighead from Rocko's Modern Life became a transgender woman called Rachel in the Static Cling special, claiming that it was "evil transsexual SJW NPC PC propaganda" and that it ruined their childhoods.
  24. Their actions and behaviors often result in delinquency or rebellion among their children and relatives. Hence, their actions in turn also make their children toxic themselves. Again, that's their hypocrisy to a letter T.
  25. Another case of hypocrisy; They loathe Pokémon and Hotel Transylvania for having monsters but they don't bother with other franchises that have monsters like The Muppets, Sesame Street, Monsters, Inc., and even Mario.
  26. They hate shows with lewd content and view the shows that have them as inappropriate, an example is how Japanese Moral Guardians reacted to this.
  27. They can even just be as anti-Semitic as Adolf Hitler. They all think Jewish people are evil and are mass-controlling the media, which isn't true. This was shown when a preacher in Kuwait claimed that SpongeBob is an evil Jewish plot to turn children away from Islam and convert them to homosexuality, even though Stephen Hillenburg isn't a Jew, and even if he was, that's not a reason to attack his show or his legacy.
    • Pokémon also caught heat in some areas (particularly the Middle East) due to allegedly being "Zionist propaganda", even claiming that Pokémon means "I am Jewish"; this is most likely due to the symbol for Normal-types being a six-pointed star-like shape in the trading card game. Which shows none of these people ever even did any research of the franchise in general.
  28. Many of them gave a show called Kirby Buckets a one star review just because they only saw the first episode which was one of the only episodes of the shows with gross out humor.
  29. They are absolute control freaks and want everything to be according to their image. Some even force their children to be like them and attempt to indoctrinate them with their beliefs, which just inspires more rebellion amongst the youth, with even a chance of committing crimes.
    • Meanwhile, those who are unlucky get deceived and they too, become moral guardians themselves.
  30. Some of them are dishonest. Using lies to decieve their kids.
  31. These people practically waste their whole lives whining and moping over media they don't like and politics they shove on people's faces. They also throw away individualism in favour of blind faith, meaning they put politics and religion before family and country.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. At least they did something about the "Elsagate" controversy.
  2. They do have a point that there are things some media that are not meant for children. As long as they don't get butthurt over that form of media, that they may be neutral to.
    • They also have a good point that some schools shouldn't be teaching sex-ed to young children because their not ready for sex-ed yet.
    • Some are against Elsagate.
    • They even have a good point on how inappropriate the 2020 Superbowl Halftime Show was.

Same at this point it is justifiable to say that moral guardians are disrespecting the dead such as they blame entertainment industry for shootings, for example when the Colombian School shooting happened they blamed a random musician, that just make me so sick, not only are they avoiding responsibility and blaming innocent people, but what they did was also very disrespectful to the victims and the families that actually care for their family members

Rule of thumb: If you're that scared of exposing your kids to that sort of content, then don't show it to them and try not to shove it down others. Also, Flanders (The Simpsons) and Miss Clavel (Madeline) are both examples of Moral Guardians in media. Also, just wait when they see Class of the Titans or Sandra the Fairytale Detective.... They'll go feral.
