Hate art (not to be confused with to disliking art) is a type of artwork that is made with the intention of promoting hatred on something the artist hates, usually a piece of entertainment media. Many toxic fandoms and hatedoms are notable for drawing many of such artworks.

Why It's Rotten

  1. They're only meant to hate on the main topic, and often have another franchise call out on the franchise that is being hated on. Their depictions can also be mean-spirited, such as showing characters from the hated franchise getting killed, abused, tortured or insulted by characters from another franchise, which is very out of character for them to do. Even some of the hate artworks they made have gore, which can disturb people who are sensitive to graphic content and imagery.
  2. The artworks sometimes promote hate on real people, which can be offensive to such people. For example, people would make hate drawings on Jesus, Muhammad, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Donald Trump, etc.
  3. They're also meant to eradicate other stances from people.
  4. Most of the artworks are rather poorly drawn, or are simply photoshops, which shows laziness.
  5. They ruined and killed the reputation and image of many series, and killed many communities.
  6. They make characters who they are using to kill, abuse, torture or insult on things they hate out of character. An example is Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia.
  7. Even the reception wikis aren't safe from hate artists. One example is that the Flanderization page on Loathsome Characters Wiki used to have hate art of Modern SpongeBob.

I ever seen many hate arts back then, many of them, this is also common to a person that don't have enough mercy to hate that character/person, also i remember a video called "Secret History of Sonic & Tails" by mashed that caused huge backlash and triggered many sonic/tails fans causing many dislikes and hate comments.

u/Bojang_Bogami who is the owner of the r/Anti Hazbin Hotel Sub Reddit makes insanely violent Hate Art consisting of Doomguy brutally killing the Hazbin Hotel characters and even the Helluva Boss characters graphically getting killed by Doom Guy. Also, his Sub Reddit is not labeled as NSFW so children who go on the Sub Reddit might get traumatized and scared by the gory hate art. He is definitely an edgelord and attention seeker.

God, I fucking hate this sorry excuse of an art style...


Seriously, I've seen fucking hate art out of random shit in southparkerkid's "deviantart at its best" collection (He is right, the hate art looks like shit in there)


I've fucking seen god damn hate art out of fucking Undertale, such as Sans getting punched in the fucking face by a deviant's fursona, or getting bullied by a big and tall character, boiling alive with Bendy The Ink Demon (Hell, I've even seen hate out of BATIM, depicting Bendy about to get the living shit beaten out of him), or getting killed with the other Undertale characters!


Hell, I even saw hate art out of FNAF, depicting Leonardo from TMNT holding up the severed head of Freddy Fazbear, with blood splattered everywhere (How is this even possible? He's a fucking animatronic for fuck's sake!), and someone even mentioned that it had tags saying: "#FuckFNAF" and "#FNAFSucks" (First of all, no one gives a shit, and second, you suck you fucking scobberlotcher!)


I even saw multiple hate art of Sonic himself created and drawn by a Russian deviant


As well as Mario (thanks to Toxic Fandoms & Hatedoms Wiki)


Hell, I even saw over 9000 hate art out of fucking Johnny Test, Teen Titans Go! and The Powerpuff Girls (2016)! They were created and drawn by none other than fucking nostalgiatards!


I even saw hate art out of The Banana Splits Movie (2019)


Not to mention that CityToon drew hate art out of black people, old people, and homeless people on his old account, which is just racist, ageist and disrespectful


He also draws hate art out of SuperMarioLogan (especially Jeffy) (Look, I get it! Jeffy is a highly stupid French kid who annoys Mario and makes his life a living hell, and is known for getting the channel and SuperLuigiLogan stripped of demonetization (Well, actually, Logan was getting false flagged by a former fan who praises his old content and bashes his new content), and for the channel's current degrading in quality/Seasonal Rot!)



Fuck hate art...
