Anime Planet is an anime list site created in 2001. It's infamous for it's server issues,biased and nitpicky user reviews and awful community.

Why It's Rotten

Its new interface and UI is worse and more clunky than the older UI. MyAnimeList and AniDB had better interfaces even before as well.
Frequent server crashes and lags are persistent.
Extremely toxic community even consisting of SJWs more than MyAnimeList and some even talking about their agenda.
Most of the user reviewers are even more biased and nitpicky than MyAnimeList and AniDB as most users on the site are very toxic.
Character page comments are riddled with a ton of toxic and biased fans/haters and will attack others' opinions and can get away with it even if they don't use harsh language.
The community also tends to hate on MyAnimeList and say that Anime Planet is superior.
It shares many problems with TheTopTens.
It doesn't have as much entries as MAL or AniDB as almost all Hentai anime is excluded from the site.
The rating system is a lot worse than MAL or AniDB since it's community is worse than the 2 sites mentioned.
A lot of trolling, agenda-pushing and opinion wars in the forums section.
A lot of the top "most helpful" reviews are even more biased,nitpicky/cherrypicky than myanimelist and more of hate rants and troll reviews than being actual reviews.
