I guess the user ratings there suffer from the usual flaws such statistical ways to collect opinions do. You simply can't collect everyone's opinion and even if you could some people are more educated than others and stuff.
Didn't know about the SJW thing but I am not surprised. It is true that there are people complaining about some games' hardness, another flaw I witnessed are troll threads in the Q&A section of the site.
